The internship helps students make links between what they have learned in the classroom and what is happening in the wider community. This experiential learning option will involve students working with a community based organisation either locally or in another region/country. The internship will involve some classroom study but primarily work will in the community placement. A job description and work plan will be developed by the student in consultation with the course supervisor and the host agency representative. A blog, written report and oral presentation are required. Prerequisites: DEVS 200 and permission of instructor. Six credits.
